Man with strong Indian accent called and told me there was a service issue in my area which Comcast fixed and they know that I have an appointment today between 12-2. I asked him what this call was about then he hung up. I got a call from the same number and when I answered, there was no one there. Very suspicious call and it’s scary because they knew about my appointment which was made yesterday. The Comcast rep told me that there were no service issues reported yesterday so lines should be fine. As a communications provider, how is it that hackers can get into the Comcast system to find out about upcoming appointments? People are easily targeted! Comcast should do better with cyber security!!!

I received a call from Eastern India stating he was from Comcast. He called to ask me my address for the technician that was scheduled to fix my phone. After I gave him my information he hung up.

Talked to a Comcast man This afternoon to help diagnose my issue. Scheduled an appointment for tomorrow (Sunday). Four hours later I received a call from a man who said he was from Comcast. He asked me to go to TV and walk me through steps. I said I did already with another man and asked him to check his notes which should be in front of him. He kept insisting. I tried his suggestions but still no signal. I finally said I have an appointment and hung up. I was very suspect from beginning of call. Difficult to understand as I believe he was from India.

Claimed to be Comcast Support calling about my upcoming appt. Said to call them back at a prescribed number. I DID and got a taped message saying that it was outside of office hours so the office was closed, and to call them back when they are open (I called during office hours). I called Comcast Support directly and reported this.The Representative claimed that she Googled it and that it was not a Comcast number. I googled it and found it listed as a Comcast number. She looked up the number again, and said YES, it IS a Comcast number, but she didn't know why they called me. This company is now worse than it's ever been.
