They called me once saying that i am an eligible customer for the RBC Insurance and they asked me If im married, If me and my spouse smoke and something else i don't remember, but anyways at the end i said no. And i received another call a week later that i didn't answer.

I don’t think RBC would call you for some kind of offer had a feeling right away it was a scam, if ever called again do not answer it’s a scam!!!!

Said they were from RBC, trying to offer services. I asked if i could get this information in branch. They said not, that only mortgage specialists in branch. I Called RBC, they said this was a SCAM as they do not call clients from that number AND they referred to me as my maiden name, not my married name.

Also. As was my experience with a number similar to this(when this 1 called and asked for me by name. I told them they had wrong #) they aren't always scamming. They are or work for debt collection agencies trying to confirm your cell or private and *unlisted number as a contact number for you so the debt collector basically scams their way back into legally having your number and harass calling you* especially after having, as I have more than a few times. Reported these agencies ("telemarketers and debt {legit}collection agencies for harassment after/and asked {demanded as is our right} To have my number removed from any and all lists open to or possessed by them, their agency(ies)/company and removed from any and all of their 2nd or 3rd party associates, partners, and or affiliates contact lists

Person on phone had Heavy Indian Accent, says because am valuable customer of RBC, offering some Accident Insurance and some other thing I could not understand. I told him not interested and he hung up. Contacted RBC, this is not them calling! It is a Scam!

An obvious telemarketing scam posing as my bank. (Telemarketer) reported by


I don't know how they know the name of my banking institution but they like to say that they are representing my bank from some company. I always say no. it was funny as soon as I picked up because normally when you pick up the phone they immediately start talking but I heard some shuffling in the background as if the person was not ready or didn't realize the phone actually got picked up. Then they just proceeded with the regular introductions after some hesitations I just blocked it.
