Call me 4x today and I decided to answer it. They asked for my mother and told me this is about her Macy's card. I'm surprised at how sophisticated and scammy these ppl are nowadays. They had her name right and yes, she does have a Macy's card BUT I help my mom out with everything and her account currently has NO balance right now. CALLER BEWARE! I can't imagine how many elder people are getting scammed at this moment by these jerks!

You may not have opened an account, but it is very possible that you have credit card fraud due to identity theft, a simple mistake in the application process or plain theft. If you don't have an account with them request to talk to their fraud unit. This will stop the calls as long as you comply with the fraud team. If you don't feel safe being transferred from this #. Call into MCCS and request their fraud department.

I've never had a Macy's or Bloomingdale's account, nor can I recall ever actually shopping at either. Out of curiosity, since they call me 5 times a day, I called from an anonymous number. When I dialed the key to reflect that I do not have a card number, I was prompted to enter my full SSN and billing ZIP code. No thanks. After I entered bogus details a few times, it forwarded me to India.
