I recently decided to purchase and finance a vehicle that i was previously leasing. I dont ever remember using capital one for anything. Since making this purchase, this number has called me 1-2 times daily. Every time the conversation goes "hello id like to speak to (my name)" I reply "can i ask who is calling". They have replied either "this is ___ requesting to speak with (my name) for personal business reasons" or "this is ___ and will not give any information unless you confirm i am speaking with (my name)". At this point i hang up. I am not going to confirm or deny anything until they give me a reason for a call. I would think that if it was a legit phone call from capital one, they would at least give a reason. I do not trust this call because as i said before, i dont ever remember doing any business with capital one.

a woman calling saying she's calling from Capital One when I already make arrangements with Capital One. So I told her I already spoke with Capital One and I hung up the call.
