Broken english call claiming my social security number had been used for fraud. Spoke to a Hindi gentleman who claimed to work for the irs and social security office. I told him I was giving the number to the authorities, and he yelled at me then hung up.

lower CC rates bank of america. Got mad when questioned (Financial services) reported by


They claimed I had a bank of america credit card and could get me a lower rate before my next billing cycle. I chose to speak to a human because their robo message used incorrect English syntax. I asked to be removed from their list, they asked for a reason why. I told them it was clearly a scam, the guy on the other end asked who told me it was, I stated the incorrect English syntax (hallmark of scams) and suggested they get an American English speaker to record the message. He said he was located in Phoenix, Arizona and worked for the credit card services of all the banks. I went back and forth with him about it with him getting angrier. Stated again I wanted to be removed, and that I would forward the entire call recording to the state's attorney general. He hung up on me.
