spoofed M&T Bank phone number (Scam call) reported by Bob
this is a real customer service phone number for M&T Bank in Buffalo, I received a call alerting me to suspicious activity on my card and they had my name and the last 4 digits of my card and the expiration date. It appeared to be a legitimate call until they told me they needed my PIN number to cancel the card and issue me a new one. i hung up and called M&T back on the same number and explained about the call i just received and they confirmed there was no suspicious activity and that they would NEVER ask a customer for their PIN. I canceled the card anyway just to be safe since the scammers had a lot of my info already. Remember they NEVER ask for your PIN, it is your private ID number. If they ask, hang up

Real customer support number for a bank is used, but scam caller (Robocall) reported by LHC
Robo call claiming a hold on your account. I verified that it is an authentic customer support line for M&T Bank, but they did not call and I have no account with them.
