SCEdison, answered. automated message was in Spanish when done it hung up. I called back. was So Cal Edison # There is no way of reaching a live person, cust serv etc if you don't have an acct number

Edison places legit robocalls from this number to alert customers to critical peak pricing events and presumably other mass area announcements like blackouts or brownouts. Beware that scammers may spoof the number for the "Agent coming in 30 minutes to disconnect your power" scam- if this happens ask which service address he is calling about you have 3 in this city. Scammers will hang up at this point. One frequent scam caller has a painful New Jersey accent and gravelly voice, I always imagine the character Rock Bottom from Felix the Cat when he calls.
