just got an automated call from Seattle City Light saying the power will be shut off within 30 minutes due to non-payment. The message did not specify the name or business they were trying to reach. They left a call back number of 1-800-470-6810

disconnection (Scam call) reported by Debbie
They called to say someone was coming out to disconnect our electric for non-payment within 45 minutes and gave a number to call with a reference number. Our bill was paid 3 days ago and is always paid promptly.

Had an automated system that answered phone as So Cal Edison (Scam call) reported by Mike
Guy called and said he was from Southern California Edison and that there is an unpaid balance of $989.42. He said he was going to be shutting off my power service in one hour unless I went to Walgreens and paid in cash.

so ca edison does not call to shut off your service! (Debt collector) reported by Battleaxe
Jennie Martinez fro so ca edison called to notify tht the service would be shut off in 1 hour if payment was not made gave me the number of 800 470-6810 and I called and spoke with Marcus who immediately wanted my address I said that I was wary of this calle to begin with and he hung up on me.
