it's Bank of America checking on fraudulentry to charges on a brand new Visa card I just opened. They did the same thing with my MasterCard a couple of months ago. Tried using it 5 times, 4 were declined because there was a fraud hold on the card from the moment it was issued. They said they had to make sure I was the one who opened the account. I guess it was safe because they weren't allowing any charges in the card at first. Wonderful fraud protection when the card gets declined the 1st 4 times you try to use it...super embarrassing.
