BANK OF AMERICA FRAUD DEPARTMENT WAS LEGIT (Company) reported by fern
I received a text notifying of a declined purchase from this number and i called it back. I hung up just in case and then called the fraud dept. number on the back of my card. they verified that 1800-427-2399 is another one of their fraud numbers.

Received a text message to verify a purchase on my bank (Silent call) reported by yarelis
I received a text to verify a $1 purchase on my credit card from Bank of America and to call this number who is not a Bank of America number and even the last 4 of the credit card number were incorrect. They didn’t answer the call but I called a Saturday night

Phishing operation claiming to be Bank of America (Scam call) reported by John Hedtke
Just got three separate (but slightly different and equally incorrect) emails suggesting I had a bogus charge on my credit card and that I should call this number or 602.597.4438 . This 800 number is *not* the number of the back of the card they're tagging, nor is the direct line the right number, either. SCAM SCAM SCAM!

I received the same text message asking me to verify a $1.00 Marathon purchase. I was asked to return a call to 800-933-62xx. A definite phishing call! Beware Beware Beware
