Threatened to take legal action against me this morning. I was totally convinced since got into an accident and went into ER last month. I called them back, and I got into a conversation with a woman. She asked my name and stated that I owed her company a hundred and something dollars. I then remembered that there is no such ER bill with that little amount of $100.

You or a member of your household were recently seen at a local emergency room. This is a final demand for payment. It is imperative that you remit payment immediately in order to avoid further collection activity....... We are the billing agent for the emergency room doctor and ask that you call 1-800-378-4134 and reference EMS000713308. (Message continues in Spanish). Called back for funsies, they are directing all callers to go to my doctor bill.com which is a scam site. BLOCK AND MOVE ON!

01/19/2021 - Received same message with the exception of the reference number. No name of who they were calling for. No hospital name or date of emergency room visit. No doctors names. No amount owed. My thought is that if this was a real collection call, it would have been a real person with real facts. Sure sounds like a scam to me.

Robocall threatens a possible lawsuit for an unpaid ER visit incurred either by myself or a family member. I don't go to ER,s for anything, because of the outrageous cost that you are charged for the visit. If I ever need medical treatment in an emergency, I'll use an Urgent Care facility before I'll go to an emergency room. Most hospitals and doctors are driven by greed in my opinion. I am not aware of any family member visiting an emergency room recently or in the past. As far as I'm concerned, this is a bogus harrassment call. I blocked the number!

Claimed that there is an Emergency Room visit at a hospital that is unpaid. Told me to call the number for more information, and threatened legal action if it is unpaid. The funny thing is that no one in my family has had an Emergency Room visit.
