He was able to look up my info from my telephone. It was for a bill I had already paid months ago. I gave him the date I paid it and the check number (no bank info was asked for). He did not ask for any personal info. Strange that the hospital reported it to collections, but it didn't seem like a scam to me.

This is not a real creditor, just scam artists trying to get personal information. The lengthy complaints on the Better Business Bureau prove these scammers should have been shut down already. :/

auotmated female voice, messaged started in mid sentence with some 800 to all back M-F 8am to 9pm. they repeated # again and then in spanish. Have no idea who or what the call related to.

They called me, asking me for my phone number, and name. I told them I would not. Told them, they called me, not the other way around! I asked who they were they said a debt collector! I have no debt! I have excellent credit! I reversed psychology.. asked her for her name, she said Pamela! She said did you just call from a 415 number, I said no.. you called me.. she again asked for my name and phone number, I said this is a scam, I’m reporting you! Her response (yelling) this is not a f*cking scam b*tch. I guess she was busted and got upset? Beware of this number! Especially the elderly! Hey Pam if your reading this.. you called the wrong professional!

immediately wanted me to verify my information. When I asked what company this was, she said The Gulf Coast and insisted I verify my information. I asked what the Gulf Coast is she just repeated her name and she was with Gulf Coast. I said I live on the Gulf Coast,what is this call in regards to. Again, she said she was with Gulf Coast & insisted I verify my information. Whej i asked again, what is the Gulf Coast, I asked is it a jewelry store? A finance company? A car dealership? What type of business is it?! She said that I can look it up and call her back when I feel comfortable verifying my information. Nice try India
