Call from 800-331-0050 left a 22-second robocall VM message saying my AT&T wireless account has been suspended until verification process was completed. Asked me to press a button to get a representative on the line to begin this process. My account at AT&T is in perfect standing. This is definitely a scam.

Called me at 308pm Eastern Time. Phone showed as Spam, so I didn’t answer. Voicemail left stated that my AT&T account was suspended pending verification, and that I had to push 1 to reactivate my account or press 2 to speak to a representative. Called me again at 10:18pm. That’s absolutely ridiculous. I blocked the number.

They left a voicemail when I missed the call. They said that my AT&T account had been suspended for “verification”. While I do have an AT&T account, I knew this was bull because I’ve have literally never had an issue with my account in the 3+ years I’ve been a customer of theirs and I have always paid my bill on time. I blocked the number. Do not answer and do not give them your personal info!!

Robocall said my account would be suspended. I hung up. My Husband received a call from the same number just minutes later. Glad I checked out this website. No. 1 I do not have Verizon as my cell phone carrier. Darn Scam artists. I do not and will not give out my personal information over the phone.

Got a call, did not pick up. Aswering machine picked up the start of an auyomated call advising my cellphone carrier has "suspended the account for verification". The account is in good standing and my carrier de ied having made the call. Beware.

Automated saying Verizon customer service (Robocall) reported by


Automated service stated that my account was suspended. Stated I needed to give them my pin and last 4 of my social security. I just hung up. They called again 30 mins later, so I just kept hitting 4. I could never get someone on the phone. Called a third time, so I kept hitting 0. Automated service again said they would call me back. I really hope to get an actual person, I would LOVE to waste their time. I figure that if I waste their time, its less time they have to try and rob other people.

Claimed to be Verizon rep (my carrier), adding that account was suspended and he needed the last 4 of my SS#. This is a business account, so there is no SS# attached to it. Whoops! Lazy, sleazy phone-based thugs!

It said my account had been suspended and tried to get personal information from me. I hung up and looked up this number. It is a scam. If in doubt, hang up on the suspicious call and call the bank/phone provider/whatever directly on a number you KNOW is theirs.

Told me he was a Verizon Agent, wanted me to give me a texted PIN number that came through saying DO NOT DISCLOSE-VERIZON WILL NEVER ASK FOR THIS CODE. Guy got antsy, saying he was trying to help me out, to get better service. Told him I wasn't even looking at the text, he wasn't getting access to my phone and hung up. Then saw the text. Good thing my gut was on target.
