Caller, Walter, indicated that I had made an AT&T upgrade order that "raised some red flags" for them because the address was in another city & state. Provided a previous address of mine as the "correct" address they had on file. My account is on a family plan held by my father, and I've never been able to make any purchases without a ton of information from him, so I knew it was incorrect and told the caller off for scamming.

Caller ID shows India. Called our pre-paid Tracfone and the POS still managed to find our #. Only family has number and I have not even set voice mail precisely to avoid these POS scammers. Number blocked so the POS can keep calling. AT&T Forum has comments from customers claiming this spammer is calling to get their PIN number. Stupidity knows no bounds these days !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
