ATT Voicemail (Unsolicited call) reported by


Have received this call twice. First time I answered because it was from an 800#. It was an automated menu that asked for ATT account & pin. I put in 0s. Then it said hold for customer service but after several moments said no agent was available and it would call me back. Received second call today. Voicemail said my ATT account was suspended and needed to be verified. I don’t have an ATT account.

“Att rep” called and said my service was going to be offline overnight and I would be credited $120 for the hassle. Then asked for confirmation numbers texted to my phone. I fell for it like a fool and the charged $300 to my att account. Idk how they got my account information but they knew everything in it! I didn’t tell them anything except the text confirm numbers.

This number 800-331-0005 was used to get my AT&T cell phone information! It was a Black male who uses a firm voice made the wife feel she had to comply. They asked to confirm some numbers that was received in a text, he didn’t ask for any other information . That some how have them access to all my account information which they changed to their own info. Beware DO NOT CONFIRM ANY TEXT THEY SEND!! They will buy phones and you’ll be stuck with the bill! I have a feeling someone with AT&T who has access to info is taking advantage of whatever they can get! Again Beware
