This is NOT National Grid when they call YOU. (Scam call) reported by


Phone numbers can be faked just like email addresses. If they call YOU claiming to be your utility company, saying your service will be disconnected in 45 minutes, it is NOT National Grid. (No power company does business this way. Many places it is illegal for a power company to shut off your utilities after a single phone call.) I answered the call and they hung up on me as soon as I asked them to verify what company they were. I called National Grid on the same number, and they verified it is a scam, using their caller ID. If you don't understand that numbers can be faked, please do not tell people that this is National Grid. You are helping scammers to rob people when you give information that is false because you don't understand the issue.

this is National Grid utility. it's also the number to call for a gas leak emergency. Community negative ratings should be disabled on this number. I was unable to call out to report a gas leak emergency due to the erroneous ratings associated with this number.

Claimed he was calling on behalf of medicare (I'm not enrolled), told him I wanted to be taken off his call list "That's not going to happen". Told him I wanted to speak to the manager, claimed he was, told him he was lying, and to put me through to the manager, he refused.

The man that answered the phone called am a swear several times because I wouldn’t give him any information. I wanted him to confirm he was actually with National Grod. I called the number back and spoke to a Real National Grid representative that confirmed there is a scal call going out using the National Grid number!.
