Each time I register a domain name with GoDaddy, I am immediately and for several days slammed with these robo-calls, which use the phone number I used in the registration process. They will "cluster call," that is, they will robo-dial your number multuiple time in the span of a few minutes. Examples from 3 consecutive days: 8 calls, one after the other, at 9:12 a.m.; 3 calls at 8:30 a.m.; 17 calls 5:02 p.m. Put them on your call reject list, pull your domain name listings from GoDaddy and tell them it's due to the horrendous robo-calls. There are many other domain name hosts that will handle your domain names without all the calls.

YES! it's totally godaddy related!!! how frustrating. i just reg'd for a domain the other day, first time using them, and the SLEW of calls...

Any time you buy a domain, your information is publicly posted on the WHOIS database. So I don't think it's GoDaddy related.
