As some have stated this is United Healthcare House call program. I have a Medicare Advantage Plan with them and the reps get points etc. when they set up one of these. Medicare requires this. If you are not with UHC then you should not be called.

I listened to a voicemail left by a man whom English is NOT his native language. He's soliciting for a "House call" appointment for someone to show up at my house and evaluate me to share info with my current (and future?) doctors. ALL of my doctors have conducted their own exams upon me in a way SPECİFİC to their specialty. To invite a strange "Health-care practitioner" into my home to conduct a GENERALİZED exam/evaluation seems not only REDUNDANT but may also become confusing, repetitive, redundant and possibly conflicting extra information from an unfamiliar source who is unfamiliar to me, the patient/client. This seems to be an unnecessary, inconvenient extra measure pushed upon me, the patient. I feel uncomfortable to host a stranger in my home to reinact what all my competent doctors have already done. I get the sense that UHC Medicare insurance company distrusts the doctors' evaluations, diagnosis and treatment protocols/procedures.

Hard to understand voice claims they want to set up a house call for United Health Care. I am a UHC member, and state that I DO NOT WANT A HOUSE CALL. They continue to call back. I have looked on the AARP website forum and there is one conversation entitled "I AM SICK OF ALL THESE PHONECALLS, UNITED HEALTHCARE" which addresses this very problem with UHC's house calls program. One person in that AARP forum thread stated they used to work for UHC's house calls program. They said, "We were yelled and screamed at all the time. We called the same people over and over even when they said no more calls. They didn't care they forced us to call over and over. UHC don't care. We were forced to get 15 to 20 appointments per day. It was like telemarketing. We had to con members into getting it done, lie if needed." This program needs to STOP. Congress needs to step in and push back against the powerful lobbies behind programs like this house calls program, which are driving health care costs up for all of us. I normally wouldn't suggest this, but if you receive this phone call, please take a moment and call your Congressional representatives to complain.
