The Center for Disease Control's The National Immunization Surveys (NIS) are a group of phone surveys used to monitor vaccination coverage among children 19–35 months and teens 13–17 years, flu vaccinations for children 6 months–17 years, and COVID-19 vaccination for children and teens in eligible age groups and for adults 18 years and older. The surveys are sponsored and conducted by the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and authorized by the Public Health Service Act [Sections 306]. Data collection for the first survey began in April 1994 to check vaccination coverage after measles outbreaks in the early 1990s.

I spoke to an actual person. I checked the number and it comes up on the CDC webiste, so I did speak with her. They asked survey questions about covid and how I felt about the vaccine and the people around me. Did I get vax'd, did I get covid, do I wear a mask, how I feel about different things. I laughed when they asked if I had a LAND line phone. Gave me #'s for services and rights and such. It doesn't seems like "spam" or robocall. It is a survey though and took 8+ minutes.

I marked this as a political call because it is supposedly from the CDC doing a COVID survey. The CDC and the federal government are using COVID as a political tool and I refuse to participate in the hysteria. People, don't give out personal information on the phone, ever, if you did not initiate the call. It's just common sense.
