He asked me to call him back he was from cdc conducting a study on how many children were immunized between ages of 6m to 16yrs. Repeated his number for a returned call. NEVER RETURN THEIR CALLS. CDC DOES NOT CALL FOR STUDIES. THESE STUDIES ARE DONE THROUGH CENSUS & THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT.

Caller ID 1-312-871-4242 from Chicago. Hung up when I answered. There have been reports locally of long distance (domestic and international) callers hanging up when you answer and you being charged high per minute rate if you call the number back. No idea if this is one of those; I did not call back. I recommend 1) not returning the call if you get a hang-up call and 2) getting number of any survey caller so you can call them instead. Don't give out personal info if you cannot confirm identity.

The NORC? survey is being conducted by min. wage people. Why is govt agency paying someone to do survey. Those numbers on immunizations should be coming from drug/state medical reporting agencies. Their pretext is under-funding in some areas for some population. Waste of govt dollars

Female called stating she was "Patricia" from the CDC conducting a study for contagious diseases. I asked her to verify that she was from the CDC, she stated that she understood since she was calling my cell phone. She asked if I was driving or doing something that could be dangerous while talking on the phone. I asked again how I could verify she was from the CDC, she then said she couldn't hear me. I hung up and blocked the call. Do not let the call go longer than 3- seconds if they cannot identify themselves right away. Never answer any questions. The CDC does not conduct phone research like this.
