I signed up for an Amazon Business account yesterday and did not complete the process. I did not answer the call based on the information on this website. I received a Google voice message: "Hello, my name is Cynthia from Amazon. I'm calling regarding your business account registration. To complete the process, just reply to the email we sent. Have a wonderful day." I also received the email. In my case, this is a legitimate phone call from Amazon.

The scammer said they were going to charge my account $1200 for a laptop. So I told them to send the F***ing laptop and they hung up on me. I called the number back. And it did come back as Amazon. Some how they are spoofing Amazon phone number. Don't fall for it. Amazon said as of today they have been experiencing this kind of complaints of scammers spoofing their number. So hang up and call Amazon by way of their 888 number to confirm. Scam scam ...

Chinese caller, they are washing all the feedebacks (check the timeline) in one day and start using this number to scam.

scam told me my account was being charged for a purchase over $700. In order to catch scammers, I should let him clean up my laptop...then he proceeded to go to my bank account and set up an un authorized Zelle transfer for a fictitious person.

this number was spoofed by a scamme trying to prove he was amazon (Scam call) reported by


the first call was spoofing my area code. after tying them up for 10 min I hung up. the call back was on the 1 206-266-1000, offender than proceeded to tell me they can call me from any number. I thought this was a great spoofing machine. Asked to be contacted from the 1888 amazon number. the offender never managed to spoof it :(
