Presumably, an Indian woman (yes, I know how it sounds) called for me, asked for me by name- said it was about a "personal matter". I told her I wasn't expecting a call about a personal matter. She got agitated and said, "Well you don't need to expect a call about something personal to respond". I asked her where she was calling from and she got angry and said something to the effect of "So is this __ or not? Why won't you just say yes or no?" When I asked her to identify herself again, she said "thank you" and disconnected the line on me. Don't be dumb enough to say yes or no. Be evasive! They can call somewhere on your behalf and play the recording of you saying yes to something you know nothing about....like your bank.

I got called by then asking for Sharon butter a year ago on the daily finally told them I've had this number for 20 years no one by that has had this number and I work for the government so they stopped calling year later same thing different person still looking for Sharon Butler but now I get called early af in the morning! I think everyone should call them about a hundred times before you go to bed let them figure out who they are calling

I think that's a great idea! I cannot stand these kinds of calls, and no matter what kind of solution offered... like the useless "no call list"... maybe we need to give them some of their own medicine!

I agree!! They just tried calling me as well. My phone said suspected spam caller. Thank goodness for advanced features on newer phones. I used Google's call screener on my Pixel 3. They hung up when it was asking them to identify who they are. A clear indicator of fraudulent scammers trying to trick me and others.
