Consistently calls my work number about they have jobs for it technicians. They have already been banned from field nation and work market for not paying for services rendered. Nothing anyone can do to collect for your materials and services as they are based out of India.

In most states you can file lien against the property work was performed at. Which will typically cause their client to pay up. I've had to do this against Worldlink Integration

I am an independent IT contractor. I received a call to do a job for Barrister IT. Barrister is probably the worst company to work for. I told them that if they were the last IT company on earth providing IT work, I'd rather become a hooker.

the phone reception was horrible - i could not heard but one out of every 5 words- breaking up terribly but they did leave a broken up voicemail that told me they were with Barister - HP technician - i have scheduling that needs to happen - this is a legit # if you are trying to get service done onsite with HP.

It is consistently Barrister Services. They contract technicians for various IT clients, even Home Depot and Walgreens. I get contacted for sub-contractor work but they assume no liability, meaning if someone trips on my work bag on site, a hard drive dies in my hand, etc. then I alone am liable. Make sure you have business liability insurance if you work with them.

They cold called me last week using information I only have listed on a private job contracting site. I said no thank you. I hear way to many bad things in the forums for years please stop calling me. Next day get a call saying it is a call back. I said I told you no your reputation paying techs, extra work ect is very bad. He hung on my instantly. Now the past 2 week days I am getting hang up calls from them. I then called into that number which is an India call center. Manager refused to talk to me about this fun and games prank callling issue.
