No legitimate survey, telemarketer, political, information or advertisement caller would barrage a private line with daily calls, always refusing to identify themself and state their business (our message asks for this) and continue with daily phone harassment. This technique does not sell a thing because they are only interested in making contact for nefarious reasons. We did not drop off the turnip truck and we have blocked their calls. The system has a 3,000 call memory and we can also block whole exchanges, area codes and parts of a number. Our phone is for our convenience and that of our family and friends whose identification shows when they call. Typical of unsolicited calls, they do not identify themselves and attempt to use harassment to make contact. When presented with the telephone equivalent of pounding on the door, no one should ever answer it. Get a decent telephone system and return peace to your home. Our system currently reports that more than 75% of the calls are not identified and are not family or friends. That means that out of 2 calls a day, there are 6 or more calls that are unsolicited. If I had to listen to the phone ring that often, I'd get rid of it.

bad connection, said she was from a health insurance agency and asked if I had Medicare or my own with place I work. Right after I answered the phone hung up.

"from state" on insurance. made me say "yes" twice (Scam call) reported by


I was receiving 2 calls per day for weeks, so I finally answered and told the person who said my name to stop calling. He said he was from the state and wanted to know if my health insurance (which he correctly knew) was working ok. My concern was the conversaiton: (insurance name is you health insurance? I said YES. He said is it working ok. I said YES and he went away. WAS HE RECORDING MY NAME SAYING "YES"?...A supposed scam. He got me.

Told the caller to stop all the many calls. She got angry, would not identify herself and I hung up. Usually there was no message left when they called before.
