Lots of reports of various types of spam (Call centre) reported by


Called while I was on vacation. No message left. This number was ACTUALLY FLAGGED(!) by Whitepages.com as being a high risk call (mostly they say low risk but have no clue who owns the number when you investigate a little). Reports of everything from Medicare fraud to trying to get money to support the Texas police. Why would I care about the TX police when I don't LIVE in TX? And those telemarketers have such high overhead that the "charity" they're shilling for only gets about 5-10% of the proceeds, with ALL the rest going to overhead (aka the telemarketers). And that's if it's *not* an out and out scam....

At first they don't answer then it hangs up. Then they'll call again and they're asking for money for the Sheriff's Department. It's a scam!
