I received a call from this number who hung up so I called back. A woman with a thick Indian accent was on the line and asked how she could help me so I told her I wanted to know why this number called and hung up. She didn’t know why and asked me for my social security number to look up my care credit account. I told her NO I want to know why this number called and she transferred me to a man who asked the same thing then claimed to be able to see that I had made 2 payments on my account (which I had recently and deleted one - weird he could see my account or so he claims). I told him have a good day and stop hanging up on people then called care credit from a trusted number and they shut my account down just in case and ordered a new card. They said this number is NOT Synchrony Bank OR Care Credit so don’t fall for this scam!!!

I have had repeated calls from this number over the last month or so. Often times a recording comes on and says they are Synchrony Bank etc. I called Synchrony bank using the number from my old account with them not the one left in the message on my phone. Synchrony Bank told me that they "have not" called me. My old account has been fully paid and closed for over a year now. This is a Scam Call.
