I called verizon and i got disconnected and the person called me back and said she is from verizon but it cane up as spam on my phone. How do i get to her if i dialed verizon from my phone. This seems to be a huge scam involving verizon wireless. My cell was also forwarded illegally to a syrange number as some people here are alleging the same.

I called Verizon because call forwarding has been remotely turned on my phone illegally. This has happened more than once. She said she accidentally disconnected the call when I thought she hung up. She called back from this number.. 972-440-7000. She called back from this number twice saying her name is Elle and she is from Verizon. She did say she turned off the call forwarding permanently on a voice mail she left. I told her I wanted to know who is activating my call forwarding as I do not consent to this. She refused to tell me this, but did say she is escalating the information to someone. I looked up this number to see if this was really Verizon and I see other people have commented about this number.

They claim to be with Verizon Tech services but they are not (Scam call) reported by


They are trying to phish for your passwords and PIN numbers and any info they can get. then they try to call you back over and over. I think Verizon prepaid is getting hacked right now . Beware!!

Highly suspicious after returning the call. Verizon tech-support returning my call. But when I called this number it was for La Quinta Inn which I called repeatedly to make sure and got the same hotel. Called today and the number has been disconnected.
