Found my IP on the dark webs (Scam call) reported by


Caller states that they found my IP on the dark webs and wanted access to my computer to scan and clean it up. They kept saying it was a free service. Caller could not provide any information around how they found my info or why they thought it was mine. I told them without verification, there was no way I would give them access to my computer.

Caller states that they have your email and that they want to first verify the name and email associated with the email address. They then try to scare you into thinking that your network is vulnerable to hackers and that they can fix it for you if you provide them with some credentials. Caller hung up when I told him that it is not possible that someone could have access to my email account and that they were in fact not even associated with the Yahoo. Caller provided fake ID number as AL1432.
