This is an unsolicited telemarketing loan or phishing scam. These people called me claiming that I filled out an application for a loan online and claimed that I was interested in a loan. This is a lie to claim that this call was solicited. Then, the first thing they wanted to do was "confirm" my first and last name so they asked me for my name. I told them that I did not contact them, I gave them my phone number, and told them that if someone contacted them that it was not me. Then, the lady asked me again like three more times for "just your first name" saying that if this was a wrong number that she could close it out but if I was just not interested then she could close the entire case out. After explaining to her multiple times that I was not the person who contacted them she still wanted to "verify" my first name. Lady, I was not born yesterday and I don't give any information to an unsolicited telemarketer over the phone.
