False "Job Interview" (Scam call) reported by


I received a call from this number today and was left a voice message that sounded very fake. Like, pre-recorded. They didn't address me by name in the voicemail and also fubbed the name of the company that they were supposedly representing. "Hey this is NAME from -" and just as they were saying the name of the company all you could hear is strange noises as if someone dropped a phone. "I'm calling to set up an interview. Blah blah blah, I sent you an email." What she said in the message is the exact wording she used in the voicemail. DO NOT EVER click links in an email that you don't trust!!!!!!

Conduct an Interview with me from "Millipore Sigma" (Scam call) reported by


Called me saying his name is Clinton? Quentin? from Millipore Sigma because he needs to do a phone screen interview with me. Then says he needs to talk to me about the timing to do the interview. Very poor English, definitely not someone who would be a recruiter or in HR. Also, why would this Fort Lauderdale number be calling me when I have never even looked to apply there? Only convincing part about it is because I am looking for jobs in biotech. Clear scam, called me three times.

This number called me 4 times in a row, didn't leave a message. On the third call I answered and no one spoke, so I hung up. On the fourth call I answered and said hello, the woman said she was a recruiter from somewhere didn't catch where. I asked her why she called me so many times in a row and didn't leave a message the first time I didn't answer. She had no valid response. I just kept asking her why she didn't leave a message, and she got upset and hung up on me. That was very annoying. I would NOT want to be recruited by a company that doesn't understand basic phone etiquette. Thank you.
