non-identifying BS call trying to get your $$ (Nuisance call) reported by


I didn't answer because I've come to realize in today's climate any number I don't recognize is inevitably someone I don't care to talk to anyway. They left no message (#big red flag). I turned off my caller ID (most every cell phone has this feature, everybody should learn how to do so for times like this & general privacy if ever needed, i.e. when someone in an emergency needs to borrow your phone, etc) & called this number back. It goes straight to voice mail saying, "Please press 2 if you want to be removed from our call list." with no identifying information. For those of you who may not know by now, any legitimate business/respectful person will, 1)Leave a message when they call. If they don't, their reason for calling wasn't that important to them, why should it be to you?... 2)Identify themselves every chance they get. For a business, it's free advertising & how they make a living. For an individual, it shows respect & legitimate intent. If they don't identify themselves they must not want you to know who they are (at least until they have you 'trapped' on the phone). Sound shady? It should, don't deal with people like this, it will NEVER be to your benefit, EVER. This number is, if not an outright scammer, is only trying to get your $$ for something you didn't ask for & don't want. "Block it now!", is my humble opinion...
