SAME AS EVERYONE ELSE. An automated message advising me I have an arrest warrent out and must call the IRS at 918-215-9139. They have called twice leaving voicemail recording both times. COMPLETE FRAUD/SCAM .WHO CAN I REPORT THIS TOO? Horrible!

Guy said he's calling from the IRS and needed to speak with me to keep me from being arrested. Asked wtf I would be arrested. He tried to verify my info from 5 years ago. After I explained that I work for an attorney's office he apologized and hung up. Filed an official complaint with the FTC for identifying himself as a govt employee.

Robot call saying someone was fraudulently using my tax id. Said i should call them back to avoid being arrested or charged with fraud. These kind of govt. offices never call people like that. Did not call back.

Left message claiming to be the IRS and threatening to throw me in jail if I did not return the call. The IRS sends letters with actual information about you. They do not make hazy claims backed with ridiculous threats of jail unless you call an unverifiable phone number.

Automated system. left a message that someone was using my tax returns as a fraudulent transaction. The message said to call another 918 number. I tried to call the number back and no ring tone at all . Treasury doesn't make calls they send out letters then certified letters.

Called and left a message that cut in in the middle of recording. Claimed they needed to here from me before charges were pressed. Government will either send mail, or press charges, but won't notify you via phone.
