I answered and said "Hello?" a couple times, and just as I hung up I heard a human-sounding voice, "Oh Hi!" too late to put the brakes on. I think it was one of those scenery chewing over-acted one-sided chuckle-y recordings where all they want is for you to say the word "Yes". For the uninitiated, they will use you saying Yes to create a permission for them to scam you. BE CAREFUL! Use replies like, "go ahead"..."knock yourself out"..."go for it"! Never say YES!(or "uh-huh") However I feel a little bad bc some of these replies say it was a ballot tracing call, which I asked for previously. Hope I didn't mess that for myself!
