Left message saying something about a refund. I called the number and asked what it was about, understanding fully that it's a scam. Well, bust my britches, it's "John" then "Steve" then "Joe" from Windows about a refund from my Defender account. I called several times, but they hung up on me. My widdle feewings is hurt. OK, so I blocked the number and told the [***] I'm on to them. Naturally they're from India.

They left a mug that we were due a refund for their computer monitoring service due to their servers crashing. They locked my brothers computer, required him to pay 40,0000 to unlock it, have sent him to Target to buy a variety of gift cards that he then had to mail to them. He's off to Target again. They are criminals.

When I called, it was obvious it was a call center background noise. Answered my ? and said it is a warranty from Geek Squad refund but could not tell me what the warrant was for or when purchased. As soon as I started asking for specifics, he hung up on me. Calls REPEATEDLY OVER THE LAST 2 DAYS -- NOW X5 CALLS ALL USING LOCAL (480) AREA CODE NUMBERS WHICH IS AZ. BLOCKING CALLS DOES NOTHING, they just call from another number, today, three times, one after another. Cannot find anything on line about Geek Squad Warranty Refunds other than there is a poss. other name under Assurant (that sounds familiar to us for a possible warranty purchase on appliances but NOT Geek Squad).
