Breast Cancer Donation Solicitor (Telemarketer) reported by


This information is true and accurate as of this posting on February 8th, 2017, 12:20PM EST. Received the call on my cell phone, and was not very happy about that either. Caller ID stated the number calling me was 904-236-4275 and a name of the calling party did NOT appear on the cell phone display. The call came from a cold calling solicitor for Breast Cancer Awareness, requesting a $25 donation. The script was difficult to interupt but once I advised that I was unable to pay my own bills at this time, they again pleaded for me to donate a smaller amount of $15. I had to become more stern with the caller and said to her, "What part of 'I cannot even pay my own bills right now' did you not understand? They apologized for the disturbance and thanked me for my time. Just before they terminated to the call, I requested that my cell phones number be deleted from their database. I was told they would comply. I will update this post should they fail to delete my phone number and place another call to me. Thank you. . .
