I finally answered after about 200 calls within the past month. It was a guy saying that I was eligible for a grant from the government that is basically like free money to use for anything I want and I don't have to pay the government back at all. I decided to go along with it and asked him how I was eligible. The caller told me: "If you are 18 years old or older, did not have a felony on my criminal background check, and promised to send them a very small portion of the grant back, I'd be eligible for $10,000". When he asked for my name and address, I gave him completely false information. He then asked what my social security number was so he could run my background check and it will only take a few minutes to do. Again, I gave false information, was put on hold, and he came back on and said I was approved! I then asked him how that was possible because I have two felonies on my record (not really though!). He told me DWIs don't count. I told him that it wasn't a DWI, and I could tell he was getting very annoyed with me. He then demanded that I give him my bank account info to send me the money. He also told me that he knew I was arrested for "being a dirty prostitute " and that "You should learn how to keep your legs closed"! I kinda lost it a little and told him what I thought of him. He told me he has people coming to my house at this very moment and "they will treat me like the **** I really am". I started laughing and he hung up. He still calls daily. If I'm bored or have friends over, I'll answer and mess with the caller. The phone I use is a burner phone not linked to my name or address.

I normally do not answer these calls. If I do I normally say good morning or good afternoon. I proceed to state I am on a do not call list and they usually hang up on me. I know also tell them sorry I do not give out my personal info.

Asking for someone else. I tell them they have wrong number. They then go into sales tactic that I'm eligible for govt grant. I tell them I'm not interested and am on do not call list. Guy ignores me and says I'm eligible for free money. I end up yelling at him that I'm not interested and he hangs up on me. super annoying!!
