This number calls constantly. From previous experience-trying to solicit donations for a policy organization but when I state they need to send me a pledge card the "man" gets adamant they won't do that and tries to badger you into a phone donation- RED FLAG! Now I immediately hang up after the same robo voice asks "can I speak to the man or lady of the house"...

5/5/21: Got a call from this number at 8:10am. First off, he asked for my husband by name, I asked "Who is this"? He never did say his name, but he said, "Oh, I can talk to you", and then went into his "speech" of the police officers donations......I said, "You called me at 8 o'clock in the freaking morning and expect me to answer anything at all from you?" I do not have any kind of patience with this type of call and actually get my frustrations out by chewing them out with language not usually used by a woman....and I flat-out don't care.

My machine answers the call. The caller repeatedly says my first name over and over. Each time more urgently than the last. This type of come on - posing as someone who would use my name, like a friend is pretty desperate.

Same guy everytime for a phony policemen's fund. Always starts with a "joke" like saying he was ready for the vm or expecting me to be like his mother-in-law and hang up. Will keep talking even when asked to stop. Been getting calls from this same guy, but usually using a local number.

He may have robbed my father who donates a lot. However, I always postpone it as I figured he's a scammer and using some machine as his responses don't seem to make sense with what I am telling him or asking him. Never thought such tyrannical blood suckers could get away with it posing as police officers. 888-982-0154 was the caller id on the phone call I received. But the guy may have other caller ids or fake ones to throw people off.
