Caller was rude and would not identify who they represent. Disconnected call when i pushed back and demanded they identify themselves. Apparent scam, do not give your information.

Asked me if I am interested in contributing to the local police department. They needed to buy bullet proof vests. I asked him which police dept and how come he has such a weird accent. He hanged the phone up but they called back later on after 3 hours and I didn’t answer

I answered and a man with an accent asked if it was me by name. I said yes what's this in regards to. He said a personal business matter and he wanted to verify my address. I asked what's it in regards to and his reply was I know what a personal matter is and that he can't tell me more until I verify my address. I said I can't verify who you are and what you want so goodbye.

If I hadn't been expecting a call I wouldn't have answered but the man with a "southern accent" said he was asking for donations for police equipment..sounded shady to me...I abruptly told him I couldn't donate but I did support the police thanked him for his time and hung up. I doubt he was from the police.
