Others, in three states, are using my email address. (Scam call) reported by


Caller (who had a strong accent) said he worked for Gmail and people in Tx, OH and some other state were using my email. He offered to show me how to block them, so 'they did not do illegal activities' with my email. I thanked him ("Michael Joseph') and said I was busy but would call back in 15 minutes. Fortunately, I Googled his call back number first.

Told me someone from another location was using my email address. (Scam call) reported by


He told me that people from 3 different locations were using my email address and that I should log on so that he could block these people. I told him it was a junk account and I did not care. He said he was with sbcglobal and part of ATT and was hired to take care of these issues. He then told me if there was ever any legal issues with the account that ATT would not be held responsible. I told him "fine by me."

Man with Indian accent said my aol account was being used by three out of state locations and I should check my scam mail now (there was none) and change my password and gave his name of Harvey Spector at 888-966-3489 x 1006 to call him - I said I would check with aol and hung up

Scamming about my computer (Scam call) reported by


I got a call this morning and when I answered there was not answer. I hung up and they tried calling back several times. I wound up by blocking the call and I also on my phone I could here the persons voice getting frustrated and trying to sell me something saying something about my computer and they were going to hack it. I have also gotten the same calls from 855-559-2155 which is exactly the same thing. Do not answer. If you can get Robo Killer, I recommend it.

When I answered the guy told me that Microsoft could no longer connect to my computer and needed me to update files on my PC. I started asking questions about who he worked for. He said technology USA who was hired by Microsoft to perform these updates. I asked him to provided proof that he was not a scam and he said all he knew was that I had a windows PC. Several reason for scam: Never asked if I was at my Home PC Never Asked my name or any Identifying information Wanted me to run programs on my PC without telling me anything other than they can no longer see my computer. Be Smart ask questions. If it sounds fishy it is.

A guy said that he was from Microsoft and was having trouble updating my software. I told him I didnt have a computer her called me a liar and said he will lock up my computer and can never use it. After I hung up called back nine times
