This is a "boiler" Room which i believe originated from a company called "TECH ASSIST"! HAVE CALLED ME WELL OVER 50 TIMES. THIS TIME THREATENED TO CHARGE $300 FROM MY "CREDIT CARD" TO PAY FOR SERVICES I NEVER RECEIVED!!! THEY ARE A MALIGNANT, VILE SCAM!!!! I NEVER ANSWER THEIR CALLS! ON ONE OR TWO OCCASIONS WHEN I DID ANSWER= THE NAME CALLER USES IS NOT UNDERSTANDABLE, LIED ONCE & ID THEMSELVES AS HP TECHNICAL SUPPORT & HANG UP WHEN ASKED TO REPEAT NAME OF COMPANY!!!

I answered the call from 888-929-5203. It was a recording that said they were going to charge my credit card $300 for computer services and left a phone number for me to call back and then hung up, but I did not call them back. I did not sign up for computer service from whoever these people are. I read the previous comments here and see that they are using the Best Buy Geek Squad to extract money from people. I do not know if the Geek Squad is really in on this but I think Best Buy should know what these people are doing. They did not mention the Geek Squad to me on the Robo call.

They basically said there was a warrant out for me ,and that my ssn was gonna be put on hold. Keep in mind they didn’t say my name or anything connecting me to this message. Now as far as I’m concerned I’m good.

Was told I was going to be charged 399 the next morning for a computer service I signed up for 3 years ago and I just forgot. Asked what my account info was they had. Was told it was in their accounting dept. No details for service. Did not sign up. Told them to stop calling. They said no they would call everyday. Told him I was calling the police. He hung up.

Claimed I had contract from 2016 for $399. were going to give me refund , referred to an agent . Then said they would renew my contract for 399. I said I did not want to renew. They said I had to handle that thru the website but when I asked for the website , he could not give it to me. I asked for the company name and he said Geeksquad/Best buy. I think its phony site (I did not buy a contract from them in 2016. ).

Fraudulent call - scammer wanted to be paid for a service renewal on a product I did not own. Claimed to be best buy service rep. I asked him what office he worked out of and he replied -- "who the XXXXX are you" then hung up.
