same exact call about documents to be served between 12pm and 3pm. Call came in at 1:35pm...lolol...I like the Pakistan scammers better. At least they try to sound real.

Had exactly the same type of call. It seems like they are reading the same script to everyone! Thank you for the comments, which helped me to figure out that indeed it was a scam!

Received a "Restricted Call" on my cell, didn't answer, they left message saying someone was going to deliver a document to my home to be signed, left 888-920-1349 number to call and a Document #. I fell for it and called them back, and they tried to collect on a very old credit card, for way more than I ever had on the card. She was very pushy, tried to get a payment from me to "settle for less" amount, and that is when I hung up on her. Beware, do not fall for this like I did! I hope this saves someone else from what I believe is tacky collection scare tactics!!!

Courier delivering "legal documents" (Scam call) reported by


Call comes up as "unknown caller" and I only answered because it called me several times in a row. The call is from someone claiming that they were trying to reach my brother as they were on their way to deliver 'a sealed envelope with legal documents' to his home between the hours of 11am and 1pm. However they called me at 10am saying "oh I will be here for the next hour before starting my route for the day". So those times just don't match. Anyhow, the man said I needed to have my brother call him right away to 'find out what the documents are' but since it's a sealed envelope, he will have to give this 'document ID number' when he calls. Seems fishy to me...

Same as below mostly. Got a call from an Adam Turner who claimed to be a mail courier, number appeared as unknown, he left a message for me with my maiden name. Said he needed 2 forms of ID from me to leave the documents, between 12-2p and it was 10:38am. He also called my husband claiming the same thing for me. Lucky for me, my address is at a postal annex and he said if he couldn’t find me that he’d have to mark me down as a refusal which he “doesn’t like to do.” I don’t understand how this can be legal, but hey... he also gave me a number to the company to call back and find out what the documents were, the reference number, and to reschedule his return. Good luck with that! I cannot imagine what this could be but I’m definitely not intending to return the call and give out all of my personal information to find out.

Typical Courier Scam (Scam call) reported by


Called from an unknown number claiming to be a courier with sealed documents and he would be by my home today between 11 and 1. Left this as the call back number to stop any legal action. Sucks for them that I block all unknown, and didn't notice the message until after 1:30. Sucks even more for them because I was home that entire time, and had not one visitor. So this is a scam attempt to collect on a debt that may or may not exist. Hope this helps someone else before they get taken for a ride.
