Just received the test text message that my student loans have been flagged by the federal government. when you click on the number, it doesn't give you an opportunity on my phone even call back which is a good thing. I know this is a scam

I work for a school, that uses student loans for tuition and I called them to verify. This is a 3rd party trying to make money off of students offering income sensitive plans. the DOE will not text you like this.

Received a text that read "Hello! juvenalYour Federal Student loan has been red flagged by the Department of Education direct loan program, Call 888-906-2367." All errors in message are exactly as they appear in text message. Clearly this is some type of scam. First, juvenal is not my name nor any part of my name. Then there are the other errors to take note of. Clearly a scam.

Received a text message saying my Federal Student loan has been red flagged by the Department of Education direct loan program, call 888-906-2367. I don't have any unpaid Federal Student loans. And they used my middle name, not the name I would have used on loan papers.

I just got the same exact text! I do have a grant but no direct loan so I am confused by this. It appears to be a phishing scam!

Just received the following text: "Hello! benjaminYour (sic) Federal Student loan has been red flagged by the Department of Education direct loan program, Call 888-906-2367." My name isn't Benjamin and I am a female and I would be surprised if this was legitimate based on the grammatical errors.
