Claimed to be from my XFinity Comcast cable. They withdrew money. (Scam call) reported by


FRAUD ALERT SCAMMER. Claimed to be from my XFinity Comcast cable company and knew the amount due on my account. Stated that their bill pay processor wasn't working and they can give a discount for a different form of payment. A day later, "Comcast" proceed to make many withdrawals from my checking account that added to over $5,000. Luckily, my bank contacted me about it on the morning of all the withdrawals.

I missed their multiple calls (they did not leave messages). But, because of this forum, I checked my SunTrust account and I had indeed missed a credit card payment! I'm thankful for the other reviews that helped me figure it out!

Legit. I didn't realize I missed a cc payment and they called me and left message. I called number on back of my cc and verified it was SunTrust. Then I went to my online banking and yes, I missed a payment.
