I was contacted by this number. Upon answering I was greeted by an automated message saying my Verizon Online account had been suspended. You can then press 1 to verify your account or 2 to speak with a representative. I pressed 2. The man I spoke with had bad reception. He sounded fuzzy and unprofessional. Definitely not an official call center. He said that someone had added 2 IPads to my account for $3k. I told him it wasn’t me and he said he could cancel the transaction. He asked me to verify my billing zip code, and said he would need a code that was sent to my phone for verification. I received the text from Verizon with a “password reset/one time password” code. They were attempting to log into my account. I immediately hung up and contacted Verizon to ensure no such transaction had been attempted which it had not. I then changed my password and login pin. Do not provide this caller with any information, it is 100% a scam.

Said that calling to verify my order from Sprint. I had called Sprint and Sprint itself put a Fraud protection cause some accessedcmy account with a fake email. Thankful Sprint caught it. The person that and left a message said they were from Sprint fraud protection with 888#
