This is a company called Evicore and they are associated with priority health and your personal care physician. They will let you know if you're upcoming order from your doctor has been approved or denied. Nothing scammy about that.

The voicemail stated the "procedure has been approved." It also expires in March.. Oh well. I've had 100 things done over the last few years and I've never gotten a call about any of them. Since when is this part of the process?? I also don't have Aetna. The doctor's office will call to make your appointment or tell you when to come in. I'm saying this is a scam.

This was an automated call to let me know that tests ordered by my doctor had been approved by my insurance company. Yes, they ask to confirm your birthdate but that is to verify that they have reached the correct party.

I did not provide my DOB in the Robocall. After looking up he # here and realizing it was a legitimate call, I called back. Aetna uses Evercor to handle medical procedure pre-certifications. In this case, it was to advise approval for a procedure that I had already had 2 days ago. I advised they were a little behind and that I might have responded to the call if it had said "Evercor Regualated call" instead of just "A regulated call", as I was aware of Evercor's involvement with AETNA.

They left a message which was cut off at the beginning. No caller ID. I checked here and saw that it was legitimate. Evicore handles medical test approvals for insurance companies. I called back and gave my Insurance info and they gave me the details re: the test so that I could schedule it.

Maybe legit healthcare related call but when a computer calls me and asks for personal information I hang up. Following this I called my insurance company who advised that my procedure was approved and that was why Evercore had called.

Asked for DOB. I hung up. Don’t give out personal info. Remember when you make the appointment at the facility they already have asked for this info. Your Dr also has this info too so why then does this company need to be calling asking for this info?….?..????
