Said it was Kathy Jackson from Microsoft Technical. They were ordered to close and needed to give me a refund of money I paid for technical support. I never paid anything like this so hung up knowing it was a scam, but others may be caught.

Refund from a Company closing down (Scam call) reported by


They left a message saying they owe me a refund since they are closing. I called back and the person told me he was going to email a form for my refund and he ask me to go on front of my computer. I told him l am having trouble with my PC and he said he could call back again on Monday. He started to sound fishy so I ask him to mail the form. He then said that everything has to be done on line. It didn't make sense to me. I told him then I don't want there refund and hanged up.

Another BS call. It arrived today @ 6:29 pm. No message was left. We need to go after the Telco's about these calls. They are the facilitators if not the perpetrators. Understand this. When one of these calls arrives .It will inevitably be answered. Either by the called person or an answering machine owned by that person. Or voice mail provided by their Telco. In any case it amounts to a completed call . Which in telephony parlance is ,"CHACHING" . Billions of completed robocalls per month is a huge income stream for the Telco's. Do you really think they want to interrupt that stream ? To get the Telco's to respond to our plight . We need to do a few things. Like disconnect your answering machine. Or discontinue Telco provided voice mail.This will tie up the Telco's switching system. Most likely forcing the switching systems into line load control. That is not good. Also their revenue drops way down because calls are not completing. These calls will however tie up their switching network. Do not answer calls if you do not recognize the caller. Just let it ring. Call your state and federal representatives and let them know ... "Your mad as hell and your not going to take it any more". If that doesn't work then we all should call forward our phones to their offices. So they can deal with the crap we have been dealing with for several years now.
