I don't know if it was a scam or not but supposedly if I paid them 250 it would clear a 5000 debt but then they read a statement basically saying that it's past the statue of limitations and they can't take legal action against me but if I made a payment then it renews the statue of limitations something to that effect so I said sorry I can't make a payment goodbye and hung up so far they haven't called back

The Better Business Bureau has 888-668-6929 as Financial Asset Management Systems, Inc. phone number. They called me earlier today, THEN followed up with spoofing local numbers. Do not answer anyone who does not leave a message. Do not call any number if they do not leave a message.
