They called and said I had an outstanding balance of 218 and that if I didn’t pay they were going to take me to court. They also said it was from rent a center somewhere I’ve never even been. Do not answer the call they will just **** you off.

Received a robocall from a caller -- on a voicemail so I returned the call. When I called them I asked why they were harassing my family and landlord. They stated it was about a old debt. I asked for the name of the company and when it was generated. The caller got frustrated I refused to give any money towards 'an unverified debt' They stated if I did not 'settle with a payment" that I would have to go to court, that they would sue me for an amount. A man named Mark Collins referred to himself as the Chief Legal Investigator and that since I was not being cooperative they would put a case on me. I hung up the phone. I called a debt lawyer who advised me that this was a scammer.

Called me saying they have a case against me. When I was unwilling to provide them with my information she said they would serve me with a subpoena at my old address. When I said ok she said good luck in court and hung up on me.
