I checked with my insurance and they told me the company MedImpact and this number were legit. I called them and it was to confirm that a new prescription for me was approved. They knew your name and they asked for your dob.

It's a legit call, telling you if your meds was approved or not. It will also send you a letter. I think a bit early to be calling people like 8am or would be nice to have a actual person call.

When I answered the robocall wants to confirm I am the patient they are looking for, and also, for security, verify my DOB. It could legit, but in this day and age, I rather be safe and not provide that information to a robocall that says it is for a prescription medication through my health insurance.

Ditto. I got the the birth date part and hung up. Next stop, this page. Most comments say it's legit, but many also say it's just saying my authorization was okay. I've already recently renewed any and all meds, so I'll just set aside till I hit any roadblocks. ('Third party' is also not comforting, especially not knowing international locations and with my vital info at risk.)

This was 100 percent legit and was Medicare and Blue Cross using third party to tell me they covered the perscription and was ready at the drugstore. They did not try to sell me anything and I called both insurers and they said they do use them. Unfortunately NOMOROBO only allows one ring so I had to call them back as they think they are fake.
