They called me pretending to be IRCC and said my info was being used for committing crime. They asked a few questions, then asked if I had been back to my home country. I am a CANADIAN CITIZEN. They told me that they didn't have that on their records. I hanged up immediately after that.

They Call me pretending IRCC Officer, we have a complaint on your name did you gave any personal details to anyone recently, they know i am from Pakistan so he keep using that info trying to convince me, i said what you want? send me a email or why IRCC officer calling for a complaint why not cops, then he said we will find you and then he hung up.

Someone called me and told me there is a complaint for my name and asked me if I have received any call from Police headquarters, he was trying to convince me to show me the number he called also matches the one with Canadian Immigration website, I just hung out the call and he called me again and told me if I don't want to solve with them they will send police officer to my unit, I said go ahead. Still waiting.

He said the police has filed a complained against me, and that have I lost any of my id's past couple of weeks, then he said there is an arrest under my name by IRCC and I thanked him for haids up and told him when they come here I will let them arrest me and we can figure it out , he said fine and hanged up, I have got too many of this scam calls I am an expert these days

A person speaking broken english contacted me with a legal complaint about me being involved in suspicious activity. I refused to give personal information and the man hung up.

Same person called me with the same story line .. very convincing. Asked me where are you running. Told me to pull over my car as police is tracking me. Suggested me not to talk too much, so I hung up. Asked me my bank info. Told him that he should already have that. Told me that he is going to freeze my accounts.
